With the Puroxi Descaler you can get rid of scale/calcium buildup in your house on your faucets, shower heads, water heaters and anywhere there is scale. You can use it on any type of pipe material.

The Puxoxi Descaler is also being used to break the surface tension that hard water creates. Surface tension can be noticed when you can overfill a glass of water and also when mosquitos lay their eggs on top of water and the egg doesn’t sink. When we drink hard water with a high surface tension we cannot hydrate well and don’t make good use of water.

The electromagnetic wave action creates a large number of suspension and condensation in the water. When the water is heated, or the pressure (psi) decreases, the calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) plasma in the hard water is absorbed. This action is called crystal nucleation and creates a process that occurs in forming a crystal from the solution. This process begins with another form of calcium carbonate that has a very distinct characteristic to calcite. When the calcium carbonate precipitates as aragonite, it forms a non-adhering harmless insoluble crystal that is either consumed or carried through the system to the drain. This process prevents scaling by not adhering to the surface of plumbing, heaters, industrial coolers, or other equipment. The existing scale will gradually dissolve in the water.

Bought a mid ‘70s house in a town with very hard water with lots of scale build up. So much so that all of the water shut off valves in the house (hot water tank, below the kitchen & bathroom faucets, etc), including our main water shut off to the house were scaled so bad they were seized. Got the Puroxi unit to see if we could try to descale enough to get valves working without breaking them (couldn’t even shut off the main supply valve to replace anything).
